Veer Wine Project – Sip & Seeds

March 20 @ 12:00 pm 2:00 pm

We’re teaming up with Casey O’Leary from Snake River Seed Cooperative for an afternoon dedicated to one of the garden’s most dramatic divas—the tomato.

In this lively, hands-on class, we’ll dig into everything you need to grow tomatoes that actually make it from plant to plate. We’ll cover tomato history, explore the world of varieties—heirlooms, hybrids, slicers, snackers—and share tips for getting plants off to a strong start from seed to soil.

You’ll also learn about transplanting, pruning, and how to help tomatoes thrive in Idaho gardens, plus how to avoid the classic tomato heartbreaks like mystery spots, droopy leaves, and plants that simply give up.

Casey will guide you through the process while you sip your favorite Veer wines—because gardening advice goes down easier with a glass in hand. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just hoping to harvest at least one respectable tomato this year, expect fresh air, new friends, and plenty of wine-fueled laughter.

Tickets are already ripening—grab yours and join us for dirty hands, juicy tomatoes, and the perfect pairing of plants and pours.
