Vegetarian Telaya Bites with Roots Zero Waste Market

You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy Telaya’s beautiful space while a knowledgeable Telaya team member and owner of Roots Zero Waste Market, Lea Rainey, share their knowledge of food and wine pairing. If you’ve ever had our Grazing Boxes from Roots in the tasting room, this is a great opportunity to try the other delicious food that Roots has to offer!

  • This informal & intimate experience will include 5- two ounce pours of wine paired with five bite size vegetarian pairings.
  • Doors open at 6:45 pm.
  • There is an area during checkout to specify any food allergies. The Roots team will do their best to accommodate with advanced notice.

Menu:

First Bite: Grilled goat cheese, corn and honey salad served in a charred corn husk boat

Second Bite: Heirloom Tomato & Curry Tartlet –Herbed crème fraiche, heirloom cherry tomato, shallot

Third Bite: Stuffed Poblano, with butternut, epazote and queso fresco

Fourth Bite: Zucchini and Pepper Gratin with Herbs and Cheese

Fifth Bite: Summer Fruited Cornbread Cobbler
