Pend d’Oreille Winery was established in 1995 by Steve and Julie Meyer. In 2017, The Bopp and Presta families purchased the winery and continue to produce exceptional wines in the style and tradition originated by the Meyers. Jim Bopp has been the lead winemaker for Pend d’Oreille Winery for 11 years. Kylie Presta is the wine chemist and assists with winemaking and operations. The Pend d’Oreille Winery produces 14 varietals of carefully crafted wine. Our tasting room and gift shop at 301 Cedar Street is open daily from 11-8:00 pm for wine tastings, bottle purchases, lunch and dinner. We serve artisan pizzas, salads, soup, and delicious farmer’s boards to pair with favorite wines. The Pend d’Oreille winery offers live music every Friday and Saturday night and piano music on Sunday afternoons. Our walls are a gallery for local artists and we focus on community involvement through service.
We are proud to offer a refill program and reduce the amount of glass waste contributed to the landfill. Our refill program is growing as we refill over 350 1.5L bottles in the tasting room each month and we have satellite refill stations in Coeur d’Alene and surrounding areas. The Pend d’Oreille Winery also offers an extensive wine club and we welcome new members every day! No cost to join. Our menus and wine club information may be found at www.powine.com.

On the slope of a valley carved by the majestic Snake River, sits the
Arena Valley Vineyard. Southwestern Idaho’s ancient riverbeds provide
the unique cobbled soil that allows us to grow a diverse range of grape
varietals. This combined with our elevation and consistent hot, dry
summers give us the climate of old-world wine growing regions such as
the Rhone Valley (Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre), the Douro Valley
(Tempranillo, Touriga), Austria (Blauer Zweigelt), and Northern Italy
(Barbera). The sand and river rock naturally restrict the vines’ growth
producing small grapes with intense and concentrated flavors. Inspired
by our passion for traditional wine making and viticulture, quality over
quantity is always emphasized on our 75 acres.
