Delectable ciders from across the state are handcrafted from the tastiest apples\, plums\, pears and other high-quality local ingredients.  \n\n\n\nEarly summer is the ideal time to explore Idaho’s unique award-winning wine and cider flavors. So look for special events and promotions throughout the month to help you sip\, savor\, and celebrate the wines and ciders made in the Gem State. \n\n\n\nSavor Idaho. The crown jewel of Idaho Wine & Cider Month takes place on June 7th\, 2026 at the Idaho Botanical Garden in Boise. Don’t miss it! \n\n\n\nSavings and Promotions. All month long\, enjoy events and activities around Idaho\, including onsite tastings\, patio gatherings\, festivals\, wine club events\, tours\, special offers\, discounts\, promotions and more. Be sure to check with club and event organizers to confirm details! \n\n\n\nLobby Hop. This is a one-of-a-kind event where Idaho wineries set up tasting stations in local hotel lobbies for a relaxed and welcoming wine experience. Guests can hop from location to location\, enjoying multiple Idaho wine tastings throughout the evening. It’s the perfect way to explore downtown and support local wine during a high-visibility month! Happening June 4th\, 2026 at selected Downtown Boise Hotel Lobbies. Check our calendar of events for details.  \n\n\n\nIdaho’s amazing wine and ciders are for everyone who is ready to taste and experience something new or savor your tried and true.  \n\n\n\nWINE & CIDER FUN FACTS:  \n\n\n\n\nEnjoy events all month long!\n\n\n\nThe tradition of winemaking in Idaho dates back to 1865.\n\n\n\nThe Eagle Foothills AVA boasts the only Idaho winery devoted exclusively to producing sparkling wine.\n\n\n\nMolly Leadbetter\, of Meriwether Cider\, is Idaho’s first and only Certified Pommelier – one of only 97 pommeliers in the world. \n\n\n\nCider apple trees are being re-established in Idaho and Gem State cideries have grown from one to eight in just the last five years.
