Meriwether Cider Co - VIRTUAL CIDER CLASS

Meriwether is so excited to announce we’ve been working hard to bring you a VIRTUAL CIDER CLASS! The class will go over the basics of cider making and by the end of it you will have your first gallon of cider happily bubbling away ready to provide you with your own homemade goodness!

The class will be led by the head cider maker at Meriwether Cider Gig Leadbetter who has been making cider from Meriwether for 5 years and has won many awards for his ciders including multiple Best in Shows at GLINTCAP and several Double Golds from Sip Northwest Best of the Northwest.

Class alone will cost $50 and an additional $50 for cider making equipment (picked up locally or shipped for an extra fee) *

All the basics will be covered in the class including how to:

-pick the type of apple juice

-propagate and pitch yeast

-measure specific gravity

-siphon (rack) cider

-experiment with flavors in your cider

-the history of cider, and much more!

By the end of the two classes, you’ll be well on your way in your cider journey!

*It is not recommended to do the class without equipment, we are offering the “class alone” ticket for homebrewers who already own all the equipment they’ll need.
